Nationally recognized consulting compnay celebrates 10 years in business

(Cleveland, Ohio) SecureState is pleased to announce its 10 year anniversary in the information security industry. What started in 2001 as a 3-person consulting firm has now, 10 years later, grown into an internationally respected information security company with clients in both the government and commercial sectors.

I’m extremely proud of what we have accomplished in such a short time, even though it’s considered eons in the security industry

~ SecureState CEO Ken Stasiak

SecureState works with government agencies, such as NASA Glenn Research Center, and national corporations, such as KeyCorp and National City Corp.

SecureState has garnered many awards in the past 10 years, continuously ranking high on prestigious award lists, such as the Inc. 500/5000 list of America’s top security companies, The Weatherhead 100 for continuous growth, the NorthCoast 99 for great workplaces for top talent in Northeast Ohio, and the NEO Success Award for its resolve to grow and invigorate the region's economy.

On top of its extensive awards list, SecureState prides itself on continuously researching and educating the information security community. SecureState consultants routinely release new tools, exploits, and vulnerabilities, publishing them on www.securestate.com.

With five distinct service practices - Advisory Services, Profiling & Penetration, Audit & Compliance, Risk Management, and Business Preservation Services, SecureState Consultants regularly present in the local community and also are in high demand for national and international security conferences, such as DEF CON, The Black Hat Briefings in Vegas, and Black Hat Europe.

With growth comes opportunity, and we feel fortunate to be able to support our community. From holding free seminars for clients and the public, to giving our time and efforts to local children and even animal charities, SecureState’s team is dedicated to its community

~ SecureState CEO Ken Stasiak

SecureState’s Northeast Ohio headquarters recently expanded from its original 5,500 square feet facility to over 19,000 square feet, providing an exciting way to kick off the 10 year milestone. The revamped building continues to support the firm’s fast paced growth and includes state-of-the-art security, facility maintenance, and lighting controls, including motorized blinds and custom built hacking table driven by Crestron components.

SecureState’s staff obviously is flourishing in its new office space, which includes pinball machines, a pool table, a gourmet kitchen complete with beer on tap and a stocked bar for special events and happy hours. Companies pay SecureState to think out of the box, and the new and improved creative environment helps staff achieve this.

Having a growing business for 10 consecutive years is no small feat. The redesign and expansion provides a visual reminder of the pride we have in what we’ve been able to accomplish at SecureState. High-tech has had its ups and downs since 2001, but we’ve been able to consistently improve no matter the economic condition – right here in Cleveland, OH.

~ SecureState President Stephen Marchewitz

We would not be where we are today without our clients who allow us to do what we love while growing steadily. I’m thankful for an amazing team of present and past employees for getting SecureState to where it is today. The amount and diversity of knowledge and skills they bring to the table is immense and invaluable to the company and our clients

~ SecureState CEO Ken Stasiak
